Hot Tropiks Joins Manila Sound LA’s Women Rising – A First Sundays Residency
Share
Hot Tropiks is kicking off 2025 with Manila Sound LA as they launch their First Sundays residency at Benny Boy Brewing. After an incredible run last year, we’re excited to bring Filipino books, art, and culture to this monthly celebration of music, creativity, and community.
For the first event of the year, Women Rising, Manila Sound LA is spotlighting Filipino American women DJs with a powerhouse lineup:
- @_januarrrry
- @djwenluv
- @thatflypinay
Alongside music, food, and an artisan market, Hot Tropiks will be hosting NP Alfaro, author of "Kontra: Against Evil," who will be signing copies of his comic. This is a great chance to meet the creator and grab a signed copy of one of the most exciting Filipino komiks today.
