Thank you for supporting Hot Tropiks. As an independent publisher and distributor of limited-run books, komiks, and cultural merchandise, each order is packed with care. Please review the policy below before requesting a return.

Returns

30-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and unread
  • In original condition
  • In original packaging (if applicable)

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or read books
  • Signed or dedicated copies
  • Limited editions or small print-run releases
  • Event or convention purchases
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards
  • Digital or downloadable products
  • Custom or made-to-order merchandise

Bundles

Bundles must be returned in full.
Partial returns of bundled items are not accepted.

Apparel Exchanges (Size Changes)

We allow one size exchange per apparel item.

  • Item must be unworn and unwashed
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping
  • We will cover shipping for the replacement item

Pre-Orders

Pre-order items ship when they become available.

If your order contains a pre-order item, the entire order will ship together.

Pre-orders cannot be canceled once production or fulfillment has begun.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Email info@hottropiks.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

If approved, we will:

  • Send a replacement, or
  • Issue a full refund
  • Cover any required return shipping

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow up to 14 business days for processing

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only if they have not yet shipped.

Because many items are packed quickly for fulfillment and events, we cannot guarantee cancellations once processing has begun.

Shipping & Delivery Issues

Lost or Stolen Packages
Hot Tropiks is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. If this occurs, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim. We are happy to assist you with the process.

Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Packages
Orders returned to us due to an incorrect address or delivery failure will be refunded minus the original shipping cost.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

  • Damage
  • Defect
  • Fulfillment error

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for lost return shipments.

Fulfillment Time

Orders typically ship within 2–5 business days, excluding holidays, travel dates, and major event weeks.

Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders are non-returnable unless items arrive damaged or incorrect.
