SAN DIEGO, CA – Hot Tropiks is honored to announce that it has been selected to showcase Filipino comic books (aka komiks) at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the world’s premier pop culture gathering. This historic participation marks a milestone as we proudly showcase a range of Filipino komiks, bringing the rich and diverse storytelling tradition of the Philippines to an international audience.

Prepare to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Pinoy komiks, where each page pulses with the heart and soul of Filipino culture. From mystical adventures and futuristic rebellions to supernatural mysteries and culinary delights, our collection promises something for every fan.

• Komiket: Filipino Komiks and Art Market. 
• Alandal - Crafted by the dynamic duo of writer Jay Ignacio and illustrious illustrator Alex Niño, this speculative fiction/action masterpiece brings to life the story of Sabina, a young girl of Spanish descent who finds herself caught in a whirlwind of historical tumult and personal transformation. (Alex Nino is an Eisner Hall of Fame Winner in 2022 and went out of retirement to finish Alandal his last work.)
